US President Donald Trump confirmed that he is not concerned about Russia attacking NATO countries, according to Axios. When asked about a possible Russian provocation against NATO countries, Trump indicated that he was not concerned, pointing out that there was no problem. The president described CIA Director John Ratcliffe's trip as "routine work" and expressed his bewilderment at media reports about it. Trump pointed out that “Ratcliffe meets with his Russian counterpart once every six months or once every year.” On the other hand, Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, confirmed on Thursday that he met Ratcliffe during his visit to Moscow. He said the talks were a "regular part of their work" and that "there was nothing unusual", adding that he had discussed "intelligence matters" with Ratcliffe. In recent weeks, Russian drones that entered the airspace of several NATO member states, including Romania and Poland, have been shot down. The Russian Foreign Ministry said Thursday that the United Kingdom and France were “playing with fire” by providing Ukraine with technology that would enable it to launch long-range attacks deep into Russia. A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman threatened to strike British military targets inside and outside Ukraine, in response to the military assistance provided by the United Kingdom to Ukraine.
