The Independent Families list supported by MP Fouad Makhzoumi won the Beirut Families Union elections, far ahead of the list supported by the Future Movement and its allies. The list supported by Makhzoumi won 11 seats out of 18. The winners from the list of independent families were: Jamil Al-Hout, Nader Al-Shaar, Ziad Dandan, Basem Al-Numani, Haitham Yassin, Abdul Razzaq Fayed, Maria Adada, Naji Al-Khayyat, Walid Kubi, Marwan Al-Safah, and Khaled Al-Gurg. As for the list of Al-Mustaqbal and its allies, the following winners were: Mounir Al-Hafi, Rami Itani, Hassan Barbour, Walid Damascene, Nada Yamout, and Sami Baliq. It is noteworthy that the new administrative body will meet next Monday to elect a new president for the federation, and Walid Kebbi is likely to be elected president of the Beirut Families Union.
