Iran launched ballistic missiles towards American forces stationed in Jordan, in response to the American attack. The Jordanian army announced that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed eight Iranian missiles that penetrated the Kingdom's airspace, stressing that they would be destroyed before they posed a threat to citizens or property.
