They achieved operational control over the highlands area above and below ground, and cleared the area of ​​saboteurs, some of whom were eliminated and others fled the area.” She added: "The activity aimed at neutralizing the underground infrastructure that was cleared of saboteurs is still continuing. After the end of the activity, the Israeli army will redeploy defensively according to the assessment of the situation." She continued: “The saboteurs who were inside the infrastructure carried out terrorist plans against Israel and its army. Following the activity on these routes in recent weeks, the ability to carry out terrorist plans against the citizens of Israel and the Israeli army from these routes was neutralized. Inside the underground infrastructure, operations rooms, rooms for weapons, generator rooms, accommodation rooms, shower facilities and a kitchen were found, which enabled the saboteurs to conduct combat and stay in them for long periods. This is an infrastructure.” A strategic infrastructure built over two decades, funded and planned by the Iranian regime.” She concluded: “The Israeli army continues to work to clear the security zone in southern Lebanon, and will not allow Hezbollah to advance plans against it. It will strongly confront any attempt by Hezbollah to carry out activity against the Israeli army, and it also continues its commitment to the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.”
