The Israeli army announced the interception of a drone launched by Hezbollah towards army forces in the security zone, noting that there were no casualties among its members.
Israeli warplanes launched two raids on the Western Bekaa, the first targeted the Jabour area in the vicinity of the cemetery, while the second raid targeted a farm in Ain al-Tineh.
For its part, the Ministry of Health announced the death of 3 people and the injury of 23 in a preliminary toll of the Israeli raids, distributed as follows:
- Ramadi, Tire District: One martyr and 15 wounded, including 6 paramedics from Al-Resala Scouts, in addition to 3 women and 2 girls.
- Kafrman, Nabatieh district: two martyrs
- Nabatieh Al-Fawqa: 3 wounded, including a woman
- Mifdoun, Nabatieh district: 4 wounded, including two women
- Ain al-Tineh - Western Bekaa: A wounded Syrian national
The two raids come after a period of relative calm in the Western Bekaa, as the last documented direct raid in the region dates back to June 21, 2026, when an Israeli raid targeted the town of Sohmar, while on August 9 the region witnessed the throwing of projectiles and incendiary materials on the woods between Niha and Kafarhouna, without an air strike similar to tonight’s raid.
This escalation comes at a time when the south witnessed a series of Israeli attacks during the past hours, which included raids on the Al-Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh, Al-Fawqa, Al-Mansouri, Ramadiyya, Al-Kfour, Al-Mansouri and Al-Dabsha, in addition to bombings in Zawtar Al-Sharqiya and between Baraashit and Beit Yahoun, and Al-Mansouri, and artillery shelling that targeted Beni Hayyan, while a drone raid on a motorcycle in Nabatieh led to the martyrdom of two people.
