Thailand announced on Saturday that it had reached an agreement with Iran allowing its oil tankers to pass through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul noted in a press conference that “an agreement has now been reached that allows Thai oil tankers to pass safely through the Strait of Hormuz.” He noted that this "contributes to alleviating concerns about fuel supplies to Thailand."
