A UNIFIL soldier was killed and another injured in an explosion in southern Lebanon... and Indonesia condemns

UNIFIL announced that a peacekeeper was killed and another was seriously injured, as a result of a projectile explosion at its site near the town of Adshit al-Qusayr.
She indicated that an investigation had been opened to determine the circumstances of the incident, stressing that the source of the projectile remained unknown until now.
It also called on all parties to ensure the safety of their forces, warning that targeting peacekeepers may amount to war crimes.
For its part, Indonesia condemned the killing of one of its soldiers participating in the force, after a shell exploded in a UNIFIL site near the same town in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
The Indonesian Foreign Ministry stressed that targeting United Nations peacekeeping forces is unacceptable.
It also reiterated its condemnation of the Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, calling on all parties to respect Lebanon's sovereignty.
