The International Atomic Energy Agency announced on Sunday that the Khandab heavy water complex in Iran had stopped working, after it was targeted by Israeli raids last week. The agency concluded, after an independent analysis of satellite images, that the Khandab site  “sustained significant damage and is no longer operational,” adding that “the facility does not contain any declared nuclear material.” The governorate's deputy head for political and security affairs, Mohsen Qamari, said that the Khandab complex was attacked in two stages by the "American enemy."
