He also pointed out the ambiguity surrounding the health status of the new Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stressing that the information about his condition is not clear, but he may be “in a very poor health condition.” The developments coincided with a rise in global oil prices to about $115 per barrel, amid American threats to target Iran's energy infrastructure if an agreement is not reached "soon."
