The Army Command announced that its units arrested 19 Lebanese and one Palestinian for committing various crimes, including possession of weapons and military ammunition and shooting. A quantity of weapons was also seized, in addition to military equipment and a number of illegal vehicles and motorcycles. It also arrested 128 Syrians for sneaking into Lebanese territory. This came in the context of the exceptional security measures implemented by the military establishment in various Lebanese regions, with the aim of maintaining internal security and stability. The seized items were handed over, and investigations began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
