Two bombs targeted a building in Ain Saadeh...the army reveals the details

The Army Command - Orientation Directorate announced that on April 5, 2026, at approximately 21:00, an apartment in the Ain Saadeh area - Matn was targeted by an enemy Israeli with two GBU-39 bombs launched from an aircraft or a battleship, in the context of the widespread aggression against Lebanon.
The Army Command said in a statement: “A specialized army unit came to the site of the attack and conducted a field survey to collect evidence. The result was that the two bombs penetrated the roof of the building and then the fourth floor, and exploded on the third floor that was the target of the attack, leading to the death of three citizens of the same floor, and the wounding of others. Initial investigations also showed that there were no new tenants in the building.”
She added: "While it turned out that one of the people was seen leaving the building on a motorcycle immediately after the attack, the investigation is continuing to reveal his identity and find out the rest of the details."
The army leadership called for not making speculation about this attack, and to be aware and responsible, pending the end of the investigation.
