Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee sent an urgent warning to the residents of the southern suburb, specifically the residents of Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh. He said: “Following up on the previous warnings, we once again confirm: Hezbollah’s activities are forcing the IDF to act against it in the southern suburb area.” He added: "The Defense Army will operate during the coming hours in the areas of Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh and inside the complex located south of the Damascus Highway, which is marked on the map." He stressed, "For your safety, you must leave immediately and move east on the Damascus Highway." He explained, "The IDF does not intend to harm you. Anyone who is near Hezbollah members, its facilities, or its combat means puts his life and the lives of his family members at risk."
