US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that today, Monday, will witness the largest number of strikes on Iran since the first day of Operation “Epic of Rage,” vowing that tomorrow, Tuesday, will witness more strikes. The US Secretary of Defense had said in previous statements that the coming days of the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran would be “decisive.” He added in a press conference at the Pentagon, “Iran is aware of this, and cannot do anything militarily about it,” noting that he recently inspected American military units deployed in the Middle East as part of this war. Hegseth announced that the US President is "ready to conclude an agreement" with Iran, and the new Iranian regime must be wise and do so, warning Tehran at the same time that the war will "intensify" if an agreement is not reached. He added that America has more options, while Iran has fewer options, pointing to the decrease in the number of missiles that Iran launches on a daily basis.
