Trump said in a post on his account on the “Truth Social” platform: “An entire civilization will die tonight, never to return. I don’t want that to happen, but it will most likely happen. However, now that we have complete and comprehensive regime change, where different, smarter, less extreme minds prevail, perhaps something wonderful and revolutionary could happen. Who knows? We will find out tonight. It is one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world.” He added: "47 years of blackmail, corruption and death will finally end.
