The Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, received the ambassadors of Finland, Anne Miskanen, Belgium, Arnot Pauwels, the Netherlands, Frank Mullen, and Canada, Gregory Galligan. During the meeting, the four ambassadors affirmed their countries’ support for the Lebanese government, praising the official response to the displacement file, and expressing their concern about the Israeli incursion into southern Lebanon. The research also addressed the period after the end of the UNIFIL mission, the issue of negotiations with Israel, in addition to the path of financial reforms. For his part, President Salam thanked the ambassadors for their countries’ support and interest in Lebanon, stressing that the government would continue to work with international partners to stop the war, and indicating Lebanon’s readiness to enter into direct negotiations.
