Hezbollah issued the following statement: “With its blind hatred, its usual criminality, and its endless brutality, which has become its inherent nature, the Israeli enemy today committed a series of mobile massacres against safe civilians, targeting with dozens of brutal raids civilian areas in the southern suburbs and the capital, Beirut, and in Sidon, the south, and the Bekaa, killing and wounding hundreds of children, women, and the elderly. This barbaric aggression, which at every stage represents described war crimes and genocide by targeting crowded civilian places, markets and shops during rush hours, is nothing but a desperate attempt to take revenge on civilian citizens after the failure of all attempts to break and subjugate this proud people, as our honorable people and countrymen have proven that the brutality of the aggression has only increased their steadfastness, steadfastness and adherence to the choice of resistance, no matter how great the sacrifices they have made. This rampant crime is a clear expression of the disappointment that the enemy suffered after its abject failure in achieving any of its goals and plans on various fronts, and after it found itself besieged by the reality of its defeat, unable and shackled to change the equations imposed by the steadfastness of the peoples of Iran and Lebanon, and an expression of the state of collapse, confusion, and confusion that this crisis-setting entity and its army are experiencing, as a result of the strikes of the Mujahideen. We affirm that the blood of the martyrs and the wounded will not be in vain, and that today’s massacres, like all brutal attacks and crimes, confirm our natural and legal right to resist the occupation and respond to its aggression, and will increase our determination to resist and confront the enemy, defend our people and our homeland, and protect our security in the face of continued aggression.”
