Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered, on Wednesday, that the strike that targeted Beirut today was the strongest since what is known as the “Pager strike,” pointing out that “the war in Iran is not over.” Netanyahu stressed that any ceasefire agreement “is not the end of the war, but rather a stage of preparation for what is coming,” stressing that Israel is ready to resume fighting at any time, and that “the finger is on the trigger.” In related situations, he indicated that Israel has “remaining goals in Iran and will work to achieve them,” considering that “when Iran is at its weakest, Israel is at its strongest.” Netanyahu stressed that the ceasefire, if it occurs, “will only be a stop on the path to achieving military goals.”
