The enemy army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, responded to Hezbollah’s announcement of launching “devouring bombing” operations. He stressed that "the Israeli army will respond with a double strike." Adraee said in a post on the “X” platform, “Hezbollah unleashed a destructive blow, and we will return the blow to them hard.” He added, "If the party is feeding on illusions of attack, let it know that the reality of the field proves that the strikes of the IDF are the blow that hits them back twice." He added, “The field will prove that the situation is two times greater, and what is coming is greater,” referring to the possibility of additional escalation in military operations. This statement comes in light of the continuing escalation between Hezbollah and Israel, after the party announced the launch of Operation “Devouring Storm” and the firing of massive missile salvos towards northern Israel, at a time when Israel is intensifying its raids on several areas in Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.
