The Army Command announced that, as a result of the security measures taken after the ceasefire agreement entered into force, army units in the city of Beirut and the southern suburbs arrested 7 citizens, a Syrian, and a Palestinian for shooting into the air on the night of April 16, 2026. The investigation has begun with the detainees and they will be handed over to the relevant authorities, and work is also underway to prosecute the rest of those involved.
