Salam: Our negotiations are continuing, but negotiation alone is not enough as long as the fires are burning. What we ask of you today is not only a political position, but an integrated action: to press for a ceasefire, to protect civilians, their homes, and their livelihoods, and to support the Lebanese state’s ability to respond to the humanitarian needs imposed by a war that is not ours.
