Member of the "Development and Liberation" bloc, MP Qassem Hashem, expressed his appreciation to the Lebanese military establishment following its leadership's decision to maintain the army's position in the Shebaa area. He considered that this step gives the people of the town reassurance and supports their steadfastness and adherence to their land under all the harsh circumstances. He explained in a statement that this position embodies the traditional role of the National Institution as a guarantee to protect the country from the seditious plans of the Israeli enemy.
