The Speaker of the House of Representatives said on the anniversary of resistance and liberation, the twenty-fifth of May this year, and the land, the human being, the wills, the homeland, and all those titles that made this bright station in the history of our homeland have been exposed to continuous Israeli aggression for 3 years, from last February until today, and it has taken the form of a war of annihilation and destruction of all aspects of life in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, in an attempt we warned against in the first days of achieving liberation in May of the year 2000: “The act of liberating the land and the human being is The smaller jihad, for which the highest and smartest sacrifices were made, martyrs, wounded, and prisoners, and preserving and preserving this achievement is the greater jihad, and Israel, which was defeated from our land, will not hesitate at any moment to take revenge on Lebanon, which presented in the battle of liberation a lesson in dignity, unity, and sacrifice that cannot be comprehended by an entity that only specializes in the art of killing, destruction, forced displacement, the killing of childhood, and aggression against everything that is human and sacred. President Berri added: This year’s liberation comes on the eve of the blessed Eid al-Adha, during which the nation unites with its races, colors, hearts and throats in obedience to God and unification of the Word. This national occasion also coincides with the announcement of His Holiness Pope Leo And generous during World War I. Speaker Berri continued: Because liberation, Hajj, and holiness are the titles of a test of national belonging and bearing responsibility, and a test of human humanity that is targeted at every moment and at every moment, especially childhood, paramedic crews, hospitals, messengers of word and image, places of worship, Islamic and Christian sanctities, and villages, towns and cities being wiped out of existence before the eyes of the world at the hands of the Israeli occupation soldiers and its killing machine, we are all called upon to make this national occasion and the two blessed occasions that coincide with it a station for emulation. In its spirit and the lessons and lessons it contains in coming together and uniting, to freedom from hate speech, to stop dancing on blood, and not to heal wounds, and before anything else, the willingness to sacrifice and remain steadfast in defense of the land, soil, and borders without any derogation from the nation’s sovereignty and freedom to confront any greedy and occupier under any circumstances, no matter how costly the sacrifices are. It is a call to integrate roles and assume responsibilities to fortify civil peace, reject sectarianism, and protect Lebanon is the final homeland for all its people, free from the clutches of strife and the destruction of division, fragmentation and settlement projects. The Speaker of the Parliament concluded: On the anniversary of the liberation, a salute of pride and appreciation to those who made the liberation and to the defenders of the land, honor and sovereignty, the resistors, all the martyred resistors and those who wait and did not change anything. Salutes are extended to the military establishment, commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, a permanent symbol of honour, sacrifice and loyalty, to the rest of the Lebanese security forces and to all the Lebanese in the various governorates and regions and in the capital, Beirut, for their support and participation with their displaced brothers. Their pain and hopes are hosted and sheltered. Together we achieved liberation, and together we are able to liberate and rebuild Lebanon.
