Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered that his forces' control of Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon represents a "decisive shift" in the attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon. Netanyahu said in a video statement: “Today we returned to Beaufort Castle in a different way. We returned united, determined, and stronger than ever before.” He added: "Taking control of Beaufort Castle is a decisive transformation. We have broken the barrier of fear and we are working on all fronts, in Syria, Gaza and Lebanon."
