The Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacco Control Administration (Regie) announced in a statement that “its anti-smuggling agency seized quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, smuggled and counterfeit tobacco, smuggled cigarettes, and smuggled tobacco as a result of raids it carried out in Bourj Hammoud, Nabaa, Sabtieh, and Doura, as part of its continuing efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products.” She pointed out that “reports of arrests of violators have been recorded and are being considered by the competent judiciary.”
