US President Donald Trump re-published a post on social media by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in which he said that reaching a memorandum of understanding with the United States is closer than ever before. Trump said in a statement to Axios: “I considered the post very positive.” He revealed that "Iran secretly apologized for providing false information regarding the agreement." He added, "I still believe that the agreement may be signed during the weekend or on Monday."
