Berri after his meeting with Barrow: Implementing the October Agreement will be enough to end the escalation

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received in Ain al-Tineh French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the French ambassador, where they discussed developments in the situation in Lebanon and the region in light of the continued Israeli aggression.
Berri thanked France and its President Emmanuel Macron for their efforts to stop the aggression and support Lebanon’s sovereignty, stressing that implementing the October 2024 agreement and activating the “mechanism” as a framework for monitoring, application and negotiation will ensure ending the escalation and returning the displaced.
