Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Wednesday that Israel's mission in Lebanon is not over yet. Netanyahu said that after the October 7 attack, he did not think about fighting Hamas alone, but also Iran and its agents, considering that Israel “changed the face of the Middle East and broke the barrier of fear.” He added that he insisted on entering Rafah despite calls for him not to do so. He pointed out that Israel is establishing a buffer security belt in southern Lebanon to prevent Hezbollah from launching attacks, stressing that "there is still something to be done in Lebanon." He pointed out that Israel carried out many operations inside Iran, stressing its efforts to prevent it from possessing a nuclear weapon.
