US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced, "We want free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to return, and all countries of the world support us in that," warning, "If Iran closes Hormuz, we have our options to deal with it. We expect Iran to fulfill its obligations."
He stressed that "the Lebanese-Israeli round of negotiations will continue today and tomorrow," considering that "Israel is present in Lebanon because Hezbollah is targeting it with missiles."
He hoped that "the course of negotiations between the Lebanese government and Israel would succeed, and stressed the need to help the Lebanese government extend its control over its entire territory without any external interference."
He pointed out that "President Donald Trump expects Iran to adhere to the talks and for the deal to be clear and good, and the technical talks with Iran are related to the nuclear file and sanctions."
