A huge explosion in Lebanon within hours... This is what Israel announced
Fady Mahouly
The Regional Council for the Upper Galilee in northern Israel reported on Sunday that a large explosion is expected to occur in the central Western Galilee region in the coming hours.
He explained in a statement that "the echoes of the explosion may be heard throughout the region, including the Houla Plain," noting that this "comes within the framework of an activity carried out by Israeli army forces to complete the destruction of enemy infrastructure in Lebanon."
The Regional Council for the Upper Galilee added: “Due to the severity of the explosion, some independent seismic monitoring systems, not linked to the Home Front Command system, may be activated by mistake.”
He concluded by saying: "It is important to emphasize that this is not an earthquake, and there is no danger to the population."
In addition, the Hebrew Channel 12 reported that “Iran has built huge tunnels in southern Lebanon,” noting that “the quantities of explosives used by the Israeli army in that region are the largest compared to what was used on all war fronts.”
