Brazil turns the tables and eliminates Japan

Brazil, the five-time world champion, turned the tables on Japan 2-1 in late time on Monday in Houston, and made its way with difficulty to the round of 16 in the 2026 North American Football World Cup.
Despite falling behind to a goal by Kaicho Sano (29), the team of veteran Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti came back with goals from Casemiro (56) and substitute Gabriel Martinelli (90 + 5).
Brazil set a match in the last 16 with the winner of the confrontation between Norway and Ivory Coast scheduled for Tuesday in Dallas.
