The England national team booked its place in the World Cup semi-finals after defeating Norway by two goals to one, in a match held at Hard Rock Stadium, on Sunday night, in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup. Norway scored first through Andreas Schilderup in the 36th minute, then Jude Bellingham scored the equalizer for the Three Lions in the 45th minute, bringing regular time to an end with one goal for each team. In extra time, Bellingham scored the second goal in the 93rd minute, leading his teammates to reach the semi-finals. This is the fourth time that England has reached the semi-finals, throughout the history of its participation in the World Cup.
