The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that it responded this morning to a missile attack targeting the country. The Qatari Ministry of Interior confirmed that a child was injured as a result of falling shrapnel resulting from an interception of an Iranian missile attack, noting that the security authorities and civil defense teams began their procedures in accordance with the approved response plans following the Iranian attack that targeted the country this morning. She stressed "the necessity of obtaining information from official sources only, and refraining from circulating rumors or publishing any unreliable information, pictures or clips, in order to avoid legal accountability." Kuwait had announced at dawn on Friday that its air defenses had responded to Iranian missile and drone attacks. The Kuwaiti army confirmed in a post on “X”: “The Kuwaiti air defenses responded to missile attacks and enemy drones, following the sinful Iranian aggression.” The publication explained that "the sounds of explosions, if heard, are the result of air defense systems intercepting enemy attacks." The circular called on everyone to “adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.” The Bahraini Interior Ministry also announced in a post on “X” that “the alarm siren has been sounded. We ask citizens and residents to calm down, go to the nearest safe place, and follow the news through official channels.”
