Raids and arrests in several areas...the army seizes weapons and pursues wanted persons

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Army units implemented extensive security measures in various Lebanese regions, including raids and setting up temporary checkpoints within the framework of pursuing those who violate security and combating drug trafficking. As a result, they arrested 8 citizens and two Syrians according to the following:
• They raided the homes of wanted persons in the areas of Khaldeh, Choueifat, and Aramoun - Aley, and arrested the citizens (K.A.) and (K.D.) for forming a robbery and robbery gang, the citizen (A.S.) for carrying out kidnappings, and the citizen (M.Z.) for shooting. Weapons, war ammunition, and military equipment were seized from their possession.
• They raided the house of the Syrian (H.H.) in the Aramoun - Aley area and arrested him for shooting.
• The citizen (A.M.) was arrested in the Al Salam neighborhood - the southern suburb, for committing acts of robbery, theft, and selling drugs.
• The citizens (A.F.) and (M.H.) and the Syrian (M.W.) were arrested at the Majdoun and Harbta checkpoints - Baalbek for opening fire and possessing a quantity of hashish and Captagon pills.
• The citizen (A.M.) was arrested in the Ras al-Ayn area - Baalbek for possessing a military weapon.
The seized items were handed over and investigations began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
