The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Nabih Berri, received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh the new Algerian Ambassador, Khamisi Arif, on a protocol visit after assuming his diplomatic duties as his country’s ambassador to Lebanon. The visit was also an occasion during which the general situation in Lebanon and the region and bilateral relations between the two countries were presented.
Speaker Berri also received the Director General of the Ogero Authority, Engineer Ahmed Bassam Oweidat, who briefed the Speaker of Parliament on the institution’s conditions and work programs at the current stage and the repercussions of the Israeli aggression on the communications sector.
