The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nasser Al-Din, condemned in the strongest terms the sinful and cowardly attack on the Director of Siblin Governmental Hospital, Dr. Rabie Seif Al-Din, which led to his injury and required him to receive special treatment at the hospital. Minister Nasser Al-Din expressed his full solidarity with Dr. Saif Al-Din, wishing him a speedy and complete recovery to quickly return to carrying out his noble humanitarian mission, adding that the Ministry will follow up on the assault case until justice is fully achieved. The Minister of Public Health stressed not to tolerate those who are exposed to medical, nursing and administrative personnel at a time when these people spare no effort to stand in the first line of defense alongside their families and society, no matter how heavy the sacrifices are and how difficult the circumstances are. Minister Dr. Nasser Al-Din made urgent contacts with the relevant security and judicial agencies, to uncover the circumstances of the attack, arrest the perpetrator, hold him accountable, and take the maximum legal penalties against him, so that he will be an example to everyone who dares to attack health institutions and their workers. He pointed out the importance of imposing strict protection around government and private hospitals to ensure the safety of staff working under exceptional pressure.
