Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in the western town of Zawtar in the south, accompanied by Defense Minister Michel Mansi, Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Odeh, and a number of military and administrative officials. Salam planted the Lebanese flag in the town square, in a symbolic step during his visit to the region.
