The Army Command announced that Israeli forces are continuing their attacks and violations of existing understandings and international laws through the systematic destruction and bulldozing of homes. It indicated in a statement that the bombing and sweeping with machine guns coincided with the shooting near the army’s concentration points in Kafr Tibnit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and Zawtar al-Gharbiya, which hinders the implementation of its missions. The Army Command confirmed  that it will continue to accompany the return of the people to the western town of Zawtar, and is carrying out its missions in the town to preserve the safety of citizens, and in the areas of Faron and Srifa, in coordination with the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon MCG4L, in parallel with its ongoing missions in the rest of the southern regions. She said that the continuation of these attacks hinders the completion of the army’s deployment in accordance with the existing understandings, and prevents the return of people to their villages and towns and the establishment of stability in the south.
