Declaring national mourning on the anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers declared national mourning on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, on the anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion.
She pointed out that public administrations, institutions and municipalities are closed, flags are lowered at half-mast, and regular programs on radio and television stations are modified in proportion to the painful anniversary, and in solidarity with the families of the righteous martyrs and the wounded and their families.
