The Israeli army announced, “About 15 Israeli civilians arrived in the Ghajar area, damaged the border fence, and then crossed the border into Lebanon. Forces from the Israeli army and the Israeli border police were sent to the area to locate them and return them to Israel.”
The army said in a statement, “The detained civilians were handed over to the Israeli police to take the necessary measures.”
He added: "The Israeli army strongly condemns these incidents, which are considered an additional incident that hinders the military operations of soldiers in the region and exposes them to danger, and calls on the law enforcement authorities to hold those involved accountable and prevent them from repeating this act, which is considered a criminal crime."
