An explosive device exploded on a passenger bus on Thursday evening in the city of Jaramana near Damascus, according to Syrian official television, citing a security source. The source said, "According to preliminary information, the explosion in the city of Jaramana was caused by an explosive device planted" inside a minibus transporting passengers, while an Agence France-Presse photographer reported that he saw a number of ambulances rushing to the area, where a main street was closed. The Syrian Ministry of Health announced that forensic teams were dealing with human remains and 7 injured people as a result of the explosion in Jaramana in the Damascus countryside.
