Member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, Ali Khreis, inspected the Social Security Center in Tyre, after returning to work normally and stopping for a period due to the damage it sustained in the hostile raids that targeted its surroundings, where he was received by the head of the center, Muhammad Bazoun. During the inspection tour, Khreis confirmed that “there is still no real ceasefire,” noting that “the Israeli enemy still continues to bomb homes and displace people.” He said: "The return of the people from the first moment called for the return of state institutions as quickly as possible," pointing out that "life must go on. The Tyre civil registry was opened about a week ago, followed by the opening of the Social Security Office, which receives citizens, because there is no alternative to the state." He pointed out that "President Nabih Berri has been keen since day one to provide all the supplies required for the people," stressing that "one of the priorities of this stage is the reopening of the Bank of Lebanon branch in Tyre." He added: "The Southern Council is continuing the work of removing rubble and backfill," expressing "his hope to accelerate the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the Israeli army, considering this a national priority that requires the concerted efforts of the state and all concerned parties." On the political issue, Khreis described the talk about “experimental areas” as a joke, considering that “the Israeli enemy continues to evade.” He affirmed his rejection of direct negotiations, calling for "resolving the situation with the enemy's withdrawal from Lebanese territory, the return of the state, and the extension of the authority of the Lebanese army over the entire Lebanese territory."
