Hezbollah announced in a statement, “Today, the Israeli enemy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a map that includes occupied southern Lebanon to its bastard entity, in an undoubted confirmation of the reality of the Israeli enemy’s ambitions in Lebanon, its land, its wealth, and its capabilities, which it has not and will not abandon, and that its entry into direct negotiations with the Lebanese authority is nothing but a naked attempt to buy time and impose new facts on the ground.” The statement said: “The Lebanese authority bears full responsibility due to its insistence on following the path of concessions and offering free gifts to the enemy, and it is required to conduct a comprehensive review to correct its course and stop its direct and humiliating negotiations with the enemy that lack any power cards, and to take immediate action at all levels, from the government to the Supreme Defense Council, as an emergency session is supposed to be held to take the necessary steps to confront this dangerous issue, first and foremost filing an urgent complaint to the UN Security Council, even if this authority has given a pledge to its enemy not to pursue him in International forums, there is no longer justification for ignoring the reality of the Israeli enemy’s ambitions in Lebanon.” He added: "The Lebanese, with all their components, must realize the magnitude of the dangers that the authority is dragging Lebanon into with its insistence on continuing the path of humiliating concessions and negotiations. National responsibility requires unifying efforts and positions in confronting the occupation and its ambitions, defending Lebanon's sovereignty and full rights to its land and wealth, and realizing that the enemy's ambitions are not limited to southern Lebanon, but rather target all of Lebanon."
