Ayoub for those deported to Israel: The way back to Lebanon is open
Fady Mahouly
Representative Ghada Ayoub wrote on her account on
Our Lebanese people who did not join the military or security forces and took refuge in Israel after the liberation of the south in 2000, including their families, will certainly benefit from a general amnesty, which will finally open the way for them to return to their homeland.
The irony is that Law 194/2011, which was introduced by the Free Patriotic Movement at the height of its understanding with Hezbollah, remained for 15 years a dead letter, without the issuance of implementing decrees that would allow their return.
What remained pending for fifteen years, we will resolve today by the text of the law. These are Lebanese, and Lebanon does not abandon its children.
