The US State Department announced that Hezbollah is the main obstacle to economic recovery in Lebanon, stressing that it bears responsibility for the Israeli presence on Lebanese territory. She pointed out that the pilot areas are the only viable path to achieving peace. She stressed that the United States will continue to support the tripartite framework to achieve regional stability
