Representative Ashraf Rifi said that the blood of the Tripoli martyrs is not to be forgotten or bargained for, and that justice does not lapse by statute of limitations or by the passage of time.
Rifi recalled the martyrs of the Al-Taqwa and Al-Salam mosque bombings, noting that the two bombings targeted Tripoli and were delivered by Al-Ahly.
Rifi stressed that the perpetrator of this crime is not unknown, pointing out that the Lebanese judiciary revealed its clues, named those involved in it, and proved its connection to the agencies of the former Syrian regime.
He concluded: “In memory of our martyrs, we say clearly: No amnesty for terrorism, no protection for criminals, and no impunity. Glory to the martyrs of peace and piety, glory to all the martyrs of Lebanon, and salutes to all who carried the torch of truth and justice for Tripoli and Lebanon.”
