Representative Ihab Matar wrote on “X”: “This is a miserable time when someone who ruined the Lebanese Republic with widespread, sectarian and racist strife, violated the constitution, handed over the Lebanese decision-making power to Iran, weakened the Lebanese army, and strengthened the illegal weapons, comes to us to criticize our adoption of the general amnesty law... I am truly ridiculous. What is certain is that there will be no amnesty for a movement that disrupted the country for the sake of the chair and brought Lebanon into hell and drowned the Lebanese in darkness and chaos, and in which Beirut witnessed a bombing.
