Representative Ghada Ayoub said that the bloc is waiting for President Joseph Aoun to sign the general amnesty law within the next two days, noting that Aoun is keen on national unity, adding: “I do not think there is an atmosphere to reject this law.” Ayoub considered that the settlement of the Iranian ambassador, Muhammad Al-Shaibani, is a very major regressive path, adding: “After us, we are turning corners.” Is this how we build a state? She stressed that "the relationship between the Forces and the Covenant is very good, noting that there is direct and indirect communication and coordination." She said: "We have confidence that the presidents of the republic and the government are in one line on the path of disarmament, but the blame we bear is based on the method of treatment and the time we lose." Ayoub considered that “the interest of the Lebanese state today lies in putting a final end to the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, and this does not mean opening doors between the two countries and ‘all wasting time is unnecessary’ and I support peace with Israel.” She added: "I fear that elections will not take place soon and that obstruction and extension will be the option and path because the state has not decided on its options. If Lebanon continues in the same way, 'there may not be elections in 3 or 4 years' and the priority of priorities is to end Hezbollah's weapons to begin with the state's option." Ayoub concluded by stressing that “our next battle must be the Military Court, which must take care of its own affairs only while making room for the return of the deportees to Israel.”
