The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, discussed with the Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, in Baabda Palace, the affairs of the Ministry of Information, and they discussed the progress of work at Lebanon Television and other media outlets. Morcos announced after the meeting that President Aoun had signed the new media law, noting that the meeting discussed the amendments that could be introduced to reach the optimal formula. Morcos briefed Aoun on the ongoing coordination with the parliamentary blocs to include further improvements to the law.
