The ancient monastery of Saint John Chrysostom in the town of Koba, Batroun, was attacked, as unknown persons stormed it, smashed and broke its contents, and stole electricity cables. Immediately, the competent security services began their investigations to uncover the identity of the assailants and determine the circumstances of the incident.
