The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, continued his meetings this afternoon at Baabda Palace. He received the Minister of Finance, Yassine Jaber, and the Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Karim Said, and discussed with them financial affairs and the bank restructuring law that was recently approved by the House of Representatives. President Aoun received MP Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Bizri and the head of the International Society for Organ Transplantation, Professor Nada Al-Hakim, and discussed with them health affairs and the progress made by medicine in the field of organ transplantation. President Aoun praised the distinguished role played by Professor Al-Hakim, and the scientific and medical achievements he achieved in a number of countries around the world. Also in Baabda Palace, the General Manager of Universal Publisher & Distributor Engineer Fadi Al-Munzah, accompanied by photographer Rami Rizk, handed over to the President of the Republic the first copy of the book “Lebanon Like Never Seen Before,” which was published and includes more than three hundred photos taken by photographer Rizk from the air, of various Lebanese regions, in luxurious printing, in the four languages: Arabic, French, English and Spanish, and among these photos is what was published about Lebanon in the international press.
